Why I major in Business Administration

I have studied BA for almost two years and am going to graduate. To retrospect the reasons why I choose this subject, it was a long story.

As soon as I graduated from junior high school, I enrolled in a business school, National Taipei College of Business. That means I hardly touched other major in the rest of my life. My parents are typical businessmen having a small restaurant. During my learning age, what I've learned from them are business ways of earning money, so I thought I aspired to be an artful businessman. Though I found I really want to be a veterinarian few years later, everything was too late. After five years studying in business, business-relative subjects seem to be my only choose. This is why I step in the field.

The second reason is that I failed in my transfer exam. I tried to major in Finance (those are two different subjects.) But some ridiculous things happened sequentially. What I’m about to tell is all truth. I attended only three schools transfer exams. First one is National Taipei University (NTPU). I was really stupid enough to fill my answers into wrong blanks and was punished by 50 scores! Second one is National Cheng Kung University (NCKU). The day before the exam, there was a big fight between my brother-in-law's and my family. I had mediated their argument until the morning, then rushed to Tainan without sleeping. No matter how much coffee I drank that day, I still fall asleep during the test. The last school is National Chengchi University (NCCU). When the test was about to beginning, I found I left my test certification at home. I rushed back to get it and late for my test. It made me nervous during the period of test. The rest is a history, I failed the three exams.

The last and the most influential reason is that if we wanted to study in NTUST, we could only choice Business Administration department. There wasn’t any alternative in this school. However, before making a decision, I checked the faculty and curriculum on the internet and I found the department is a good launching pad to my coveted Finance. Not only did it include extensive courses, but you could still choice one of the theme of monograph and research what you’re interested in. Teachers here have practice experience. Take my financial management teacher, Mr. Shie, for example, he was a former CFO of CLSA (香港里昂證券). This was a big attraction for me, so I registered.

All in all, I am still glad of majoring in Business Administration. I deeply believe that I will study harder to major in what I really want and be more competitive in the future.

Giving more positive attitude to our environment (Free writing 1)

Human should love their environment more as child to mother. This is not an article giving you steps pertained how to protect our environment. We are not lack of information about how to deal with environment problem. Then why dose the situation keep deteriorating? Why don’t these work?

Most of people don’t know what correct attitude they should have. Some people don’t care these environment problems because they think these aren’t their business. Others may even don’t understand how serious the problem is. One of the most pretexts I’ve heard are that they think it is impossible to solve this enigma due to the existing conflict between natural and technology. And some people said it is useless to put effort in this issue because of the limited effect ion by single person, and then they give up. That’s why we can see that someone do things harming the earth and said they love it. Love is love’s action, not just words.

Actually, changing your attitude can conquer most of these difficulties. People should understand that protecting our environment not means we have to devote ourselves to trouble things. There are only two easy attitudes we have to keep. First and the most important attitude is care. We must care things closed to our habitations. We also need to care the Earth. Care means that you will read the relative reports, for example, “The greenhouse gas of the plant had reached the new record,” and news giving information of new eco-friendly merchandizes like the mobile phone casing that actually blooms. Gradually you will know what helpful things you can do and what you shouldn’t do. Second and the rest one is keep thinking. Consider what the result to environment is before you do everything. It sounds a bit of trouble, but when you get used to it, you’ll find all of the things are just lifting your finger. For instance, recycle everything can be recycled, from a piece of paper to electronic gadget including your mobile phone, and don’t waste resources like water.

All in all, you now can observe what’s going on. You can be a voyeur and literally understand how nature works, how beautiful it is, and try to learn from what you see. The more you learn you love the paradise more.

Introduction

My name is Chou Ying Lin. My nickname is 小P. To tell you the truth, I ‘m not sure where is my birthplace, yet that’s not the point. What you and I need to know is that where I grew up because that is effective factor to form my characteristic. I grew up in Loungtan, Taoyuan which is just a country compared with Taipei, but I love here more then Taipei. Here is a place fulled of tea and forest and that’s why I said this is important. It is fun for me to adventure in the forest, run between the teas. Friends and I went out in the day and night and played with wild animals. We are afraid of nothing. You can also say that I grew up with animals, and even reptiles. I love them. But one day, my favorite friend, a dog, was killed by human, then protecting all of the animals from human’s slaughter become my only goal.

From above, you may guess what I am like. I am easy-going, energetic, ambitious, and dreamful but a bit of stubborn, strict, boring, and lazy. My interests are extensive, which includes sports (basketball, tennis, table tennis, volleyball, and badminton,) hiking, fishing, TV games, movies, computers, cars, business, and reading, etc. I love to discuss these things with friends. In the end, I want to thank god that I can be in the class. It is really lucky to be draw!

My family

I'm the youngest child in my family. Despite of my parents, I have a brother and sister. To begin with the only child, my Dad, he always remains curious about new things and desire to contact them. Yet, whenever he can’t obtain what he want, he will act as a capricious child. What I learned from him is how to play such as fishing, climbing mountains, building house, and traveling etc and the most important thing is that whatever we are going to do, we should focus on it. Then is my mentor, Mon, who has a skinny figure and some kind of messy hair. She always has warm smiling on her face and that makes her amiable. Sometime she told us philosophy of living so we respect her most. What I learned from her is that no matter how bad situation we faced, we should keep optimistic. She also teaches me what happiness is. Next is my beautiful sister who is eight years older than me. When I was child, she usually bought things for me, like clothes, shoes, food, etc. Although she was married, she always came home to stay with us. She let me know that someone will be there for me forever and that really encouraging me. Than I want to introduce my fellow, brother. We almost have same interest such as sports, TV games, movies, except telling innocent jokes. He is good at everything he is interest in. I find myself try hard to catch up with him imperceptibly. He became one of my targets. Finally, I have some friends in my home. They are four dogs, one cat, and a snake. They make this home a bustling place.
